scoobysworkshop.com Sleep, Fat, Muscle, and Bodybuilding Most people realize sleep is important but few realize how incredibly important it is for bodybuilders, athletes and people wanting to lose a few pounds. If you want to gain muscle, lose fat, or maximize your athletic performance you cannot be sleep deprived. We live in a world of sleep deprived people. With every passing year there are more demands on our time: school, work, family, friends, facebook, television, the internet. The average person sleeps an hour less each night than those a century ago and its not because we need less sleep. If you are serious about losing fat or bodybuilding then you must get enough sleep, lets look at why its so important that you turn off the TV and go to bed early. If you are sleep deprived: – You get fatter – You burn muscle rather than fat – Your athletic skills decrease by 9% How is that for three great reasons to get enough sleep??? Sleep deprivation is a double-bad for people trying to lose weight — it makes you burn off fewer calories AND it makes you eat more, so you get FAT! Calms Forte isnt a tea. They are small homeopathic tablets you can either dissolve in your mouth or swallow. Its non addictive, 100% natural from flower extracts/phosphors, and pretty cheap. I get 100 tabs for $5 and usually only require 1-2 to zone out just enough to sleep. Leaving things undone drives me nuts so it comes in handy to stop working on things at night.

    I have had this same bottle for like 6 months. You can order it, or get it from GNC or Vitamin Shoppe.

    my age is 23 and i sleep 6 hours at night..is that enought??

  21. SweetSinFZ says:

    @Juggernaut76 Calms Forte is tea? Natural? I to have? a problem shutting my brain off from things that make me more jumpy like thinking of football rather then nice relaxing fire on a snowy day

  22. Juggernaut76 says:

    @SweetSinFZ

    I only use stuff like sleep teas or melatonin once in awhile. If you need it more than a few days in a row figure out why and deal with it. I prefer Calms Forte from Hyland’s or Sleepytime Tea. Never have needed Ambien.

    If you cant sleep because you aren’t physically tired I think melatonin works better. My issue is turning my brain off if it gets late &? I am working on something. I don’t like leaving this unfinished and Calms Forte is great because is unfocuses me.

  23. goldenguides says:

    scooby if i? turn of the alarm i can happily sleep 12-14 hours which isn’t practical does this mean i am sleep deprived?

  24. SweetSinFZ says:

    @dragonode1 You need anything above 10 and your just wasting time, in a perfcr world you wont get that much, unless you have hypersomnia?

  25. Sonic3323new says:

    @250mxrider enough is when your body decidess it is enough. go to sleep? early and get up when you are awake. the time it takes until you wake up is enough.
